DEEPSEEK - Honey - / Mead aged in bourbon barrels

<Product Description>
A sweet, full-bodied mead aged for six months in bourbon barrels.
We challenged ourselves to see how much complexity we could coax out of honey alone, without the use of any adjuncts. This golden liquid features a high alcohol content of 14%, a luscious sweetness, and a subtle acidity. It is also wonderful when warmed to around 38°C (100°F).
For this batch, we used bourbon barrels previously utilized by Far Yeast Brewing for aging beer. In addition to a smooth acidity, notes of apple and hay have been imparted, leading to a finish reminiscent of the esters typically found in beer.
