Experience the culture of mead with ANTELOPE.
We are a company that produces and sells mead, but we do not want to be a company that only offers mead.
Mead is a fermented alcoholic beverage that could be called the crystallization of the souls of those who engage with the land.
Starting in 2026, we switched to using domestic ingredients for our mead, and we became the first producer outside of Europe to win the top prize at a global mead competition.
It was a moment when the appeal of Japan was recognized.
To keep that flame alive and turn it into a culture, we need to join hands with you all.
We look forward to your support.

I would like to work with you to spread the culture of "mead."
Because mead is not widely circulated in Japan, there is a lot about it that remains a mystery.
"What exactly is mead?"
"Should it be mixed with something?"
"Who is it for, and what are the best occasions to drink it?"
"What kind of glass should I serve it in?"
"How should I store it?"
The questions are endless.
We promise to learn alongside you, share information, and build this culture together, so we hope you will join us on this journey and walk hand in hand with us.
ミードについて

An alcoholic beverage made by fermenting honey
It is said to be the world's oldest alcoholic beverage, with theories suggesting it has existed for over 10,000 years.
Based on the rich flavor derived from honey, it can be made with a wide variety of secondary ingredients, such as fruits, spices, herbs, and grains, allowing you to enjoy the flavors of each season.
〈Recommended for:〉
It is recommended for those who enjoy sake, wine, or craft beer while appreciating the dedication of the producers.
Another unique charm of mead that sets it apart from other alcoholic drinks is that it can also be enjoyed by those who usually avoid alcohol because they dislike its characteristic bitterness or astringency.
Although still rare in Japan, it has been gaining significant attention in recent years, particularly in Western countries, making it a great recommendation for international visitors as well.

How to Enjoy Mead
【How to drink】
Mead is enjoyed by pouring it directly into a glass, just like wine.
A wine glass is recommended.
For carbonated varieties, drink them chilled, just like champagne or sparkling wine. For still types, enjoy them at room temperature or slightly chilled.
Our lineup consists mostly of carbonated varieties.
【How to serve mead in your establishment】
・Dry Mead: Pairs perfectly with Japanese dishes using soy sauce or sugar, or Chinese dishes with high acidity and oil content. It cleanses the palate after rich, heavy dishes.
・Sweet Mead: Recommended for dessert pairing. It pairs wonderfully with items like ice cream or cheesecake. It can also be enjoyed on its own much like a dessert wine.

A fantastic connection with ANTELOPE

We don't just want a "manufacturer-retailer" relationship with the shops that carry our mead; we want to become a "team" working toward the same dream.
Won't you join us in creating a future where "What is mead?" is replaced by "Let's toast with mead tonight" as the new normal in Japan?
Once you register via the form, a representative will contact you.
