About "Aurea," the top-award-winning mead in a global competition
"Aurea," which won the first-ever top prize in Asia at a global mead competition in 2026, is currently in production.
We are aiming for a release in early October. It will be available at ANTELOPE and trusted liquor stores nationwide.
What is mead?
Mead is the world's oldest alcoholic beverage, brewed using only honey, water, and yeast.
You may have heard of it or even tried it, but honestly, you might not be quite sure what kind of drink it really is.
We have created this introductory page on mead for those people.

Unlike most mead brewing, no antioxidants are used. We also use no artificial flavorings, colorings, or sweeteners.

The brewery is in a corner of a residential area.
About a 30-minute walk from Yasu Station, our brewery is nestled in a quiet residential area.
On weekdays, we operate as a bottle shop; on Fridays, we bake bread; and on weekends, we prepare seasonal baked goods and cakes. It is the best place to experience the warmth of ANTELOPE firsthand.
We also offer mead tastings at any time, so please feel free to come and try a variety of our meads.
