What is new mead?
"Atarashii Mead" is a booklet from ANTELOPE designed to cultivate curiosity,
sparked by mead—an alcoholic beverage born from honey—that makes you want to shift your perspective on the world just a little bit.
Whether you're unfamiliar with mead, can't drink it,
or have simply been curious about it,
we aim to create a space where everyone can encounter new perspectives
and find their own "gateway to discovery."
The pages feature articles introducing classic products,
the representative styles of mead,
and tips for enjoying the year-end and New Year holidays with mead.

New Mead Vol. 1
"I want something that explains mead as clearly as possible." That wish brought to life "The New Mead Vol. 1," a textbook-style zine about mead.
It is a book packed with passion across 30 pages, including the cover. We’ve kept it as simple as possible, while packing in just how interesting mead can be.
New Mead Vol. 2
―― Serving as a gateway to your curiosity.
Experience global cultures and satisfy your curiosity through "Mead."
Vol. 2 features "Mead served warm" and looks at Poland, a mead superpower.
We also explore the local charms of Shiga Prefecture that we love so much.

Summer means travel. Is mead, with its excellent shelf life, suited for the road?
This page is packed with inspiration to get you traveling, from packing tips for fellow drink enthusiasts

We wondered what kind of flavor our lovely mead would develop if we took it on a journey, so the three of us on the brewing team decided to take it along with us.
A page where I've re-explained our classic meads. Looking back, I realized it was filled with so much love.
