A mead created to commemorate thetaθ's first anniversary.
Our team came together to dream up a recipe, imagining the sense of the season and the setting in which we want you to enjoy it.
Made using honey from Hamamatsu City, along with Nagano apples, walnuts, and a touch of spice.
Inspired by apple pie, while still retaining the distinctive aroma of a mead.
With a gentle alcohol content and no carbonation.
It is a mead meant for tilting your glass slowly while reading a book.
〈0→1〉
There have been many transitions.
At ANTELOPE, where we brew mead in what was once a bread factory, I had always hoped to one day create a space where we could bake bread.
Two years of planning. One year since launch.
Many things have happened during this time.
Frustrations, moments of sadness, and, of course, moments of great joy.
It would be easy to give up,
but the support we have, solid and anchored, has been far too strong to break.
Looking back now,
I am amazed we have been able to keep moving forward. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you and to every member of our team who has supported us.
〈Tasting Note〉
A deep, slightly hazy yellow. Aromas of cinnamon and apple drift up alongside the scent of honey. A gentle sweetness upon the palate. It is a pleasure to enjoy even as it slowly warms to room temperature. Pairs perfectly with pumpkin, chestnut, sweet potato, and other tastes of Japan.
