At Comorebi Farm, located on the steep slopes of Innoshima in Onomichi City with a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea, Hassaku oranges and Ansei-kan citrus are grown using natural farming methods.
We brewed this by incorporating the whole peel and juice of juicy Hassaku—rich in acidity, bitterness, and minerals—and Ansei-kan, with its vibrant, green aroma reminiscent of freshly picked bell peppers. This year, we added a touch of vanilla for a more refined flavor. Based on the conviction that "if it's not bitter, it's not Hassaku," we have achieved a sophisticated, bitter finish.
A glass that makes you want to stop by and dive right into the blue sea.
Vanilla added to the recipe from two years ago.

Why not experience the timeless goodness of Onomichi's citrus for yourself?
〈Memories → To Friends〉
Onomichi U2 is the place I remember visiting on my first long-distance drive after buying a car.
The memories I have of this place are set in stone; it's like a record that can never be overwritten.
It was two years ago in the summer when I felt I absolutely had to have our mead sold there. When I made a whirlwind sales trip, I entrusted them with this "Blue C," hoping they would carry it. I made this drink representing the spirit of Comorebi Farm as well.
Different recipes, but one single vision.
Please enjoy both this year's Blue C and the Onomichi U2-exclusive Blue C.
〈Tasting Note〉
The ABV is 8%. It has an earthy strength unique to Hassaku, rather than the simple freshness of lemon peel, with a hint of vanilla added for a softer impression. It has a fizzy mouthfeel and a mature bitterness similar to spring vegetables. While it’s traditionally served chilled, it's also great at room temperature in early spring. If pairing with cheese risotto, try choosing blue cheese.
