First time at ANTELOPE! Mead brewed with 100% domestic honey.
The honey we used was soyogo honey collected by a ``breeding shop'' in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture. I was drawn to the pure feelings and passion of Mr. and Mrs. Shiomi, who run a spinning farm, and decided to take on the challenge of making domestic honey mead together. It's full of refreshing white fruit flavors and uses plenty of honey to remind you of spices.
Mead is characterized by its long fermentation time, and modern techniques have made it possible to control the fermentation speed relatively freely. However, this time I decided to leave it to the natural fermentation process, hoping that the ``character'' of the honey grown by Mr. Shiomi would come out to the fullest. Finished with aging in white wine barrels.
This is a bottle that retains the fruit flavor and coolness of honey, while combining the mead-like body and aroma derived from fermentation. Rather than pairing with a meal, we recommend drinking it alone before or after a meal.

ANTELOPE's very first mead brewed with only 100% domestic honey!
The honey used is soyogo honey collected by "Yohoya" in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture. We were attracted to the pure feelings and thoughts of Mr. and Mrs. Shiomi, who run the honey shop, and decided to take on the challenge of domestic honey mead together. We used a lot of honey, which is refreshing and full of white fruit flavor, and makes you think of a little spice.
Mead is characterized by a long fermentation, and modern techniques have allowed the speed to be relatively freely controlled. However, this time, we thought it would be nice if the “likeness” of the honey raised by Mr. Shiomi came out on the whole , so we left it to the natural fermentation process. It's aged in white wine barrels.
While retaining the fruitiness and coolness of honey, this product combines a mead-like body with a fermented aroma. Rather than pairing with meals, it is recommended to drink it alone before and after meals.
