This year I used another fruit from Miyamoto Farm in Uwajima.
Big big Kawachi Bankan. The dazzlingly bright yellow fruit has a fresh scent reminiscent of yuzu and sansho pepper, and a sour taste similar to grapefruit. The carefully peeled skin of the fruit is processed and used in two ways: dry and fresh.
The piping hot fried chicken, mapo tofu, and well-chilled ``bankan'' are very good. It has a bit of a Japanese pepper smell, so eel might also go well with it. We packed the scent that we felt in the fields of Uwajima into a bottle. Chill well and enjoy!

Bankan
We were able to use another fruit this year from Miyamoto Farm in Uwajima.
A large, large Kawachi Bankan orange. The dazzlingly bright yellow fruit has a fresh aroma reminiscent of yuzu and sansho, and a grapefruit-like acidity. The peel is carefully peeled from the fruit and processed in two ways: dry and fresh.
It is very good with hot fried tofu or bean curd and well-chilled "late citrus". We put the aroma we felt in the fields of Uwajima directly into the bottle. Please enjoy it well chilled!
