＜Product Description＞
Yohoya in the Tenryu district of Hamamatsu is the reason we use, and want to use, domestic honey.
For our annual Shiomead, we use the entire harvest of their early summer honey and infuse it with naturally grown holy basil from the same region, aged for a long period in wooden barrels. All of the holy basil is sourced from basil house.
We have dissolved the spirit of those who continue to passionately cultivate holy basil in Hamamatsu into the honey produced by their fellow townspeople, the Shiomis, and allowed it to age. The refreshing aroma, which feels as if it purifies the soul, is steeped in the sweetness of honey. A must-buy for the coming autumn.
