A collaborative creation with Yusuke Sakaibe, co-owner of LURRA° in Higashiyama, Kyoto, and a renowned supervisor of numerous drinks.

The mead is named "Hive Mind."

A hive refers to a beehive or a swarm of bees itself. When you observe honeybees, it is very easy to see how a shared understanding exists within the crowd, and how they are governed. Sometimes they are apart. Sometimes you don't know what they are thinking. Sometimes it feels like they are on the wrong path. But if we can toast with the same mead in such a society, isn't that enough?

We held meeting after meeting at our factory in Yasu and brewed it together so that everyone—from cocktail lovers and natural wine freaks to foodies and the local guys at the snack bar—could enjoy it.

This mead takes the best of both mead and cider, infused with the aroma of rooibos and a spice blend, and aged in Islay malt casks.

─ A toast for everyone, connected by Hive Mind ─
